Tommy Bynum is proud to partner with the teams of volunteers and bunnies of Bunny Blessings in order to offer Animal Assisted Interactions. Touching over 6,000 lives annually, bringing comfort to those in need.

Our History
Inspired by a sermon in 2019 on love and service, Phillip and Brittany Bryson founded Bunny Blessings, a ministry using our pet bunny, Oscar, for therapeutic purposes. As the initiative gained popularity, they adopted more rescue rabbits and began visiting the Charlotte area, even reaching the NC Governor’s Mansion. However, the Covid pandemic in 2020 temporarily halted indoor visits, prompting the ministry to offer outdoor activities. Later that summer, the Brysons moved to a five-acre property in Belmont, NC, where they built the Bunny Barn, accommodating their growing number of bunnies and visitors. Since its inception, over 1,500 visitors have been welcomed to the Bunny Barn. Including scout troops, church youth groups, college ministries, families with special needs, and many more
What We Do
Our teams of volunteers and bunnies provide Animal Assisted Interactions at assisted living facilities, nursing homes, rehab facilities, domestic abuse/homeless shelters, crisis locations, etc throughout the greater Charlotte, NC area.
Our Bunny Barn offers onsite services like hospice counseling, personal visits, and small group therapy.
We share our ministry with groups of all ages at schools- from preschool to college, church groups, community service groups, etc to encourage them to find their unique ways to love and serve others. We offer summer camps and children’s programs that teach younger generations the importance of caring for and serving their community.

- As Bunny Blessings continues to grow, we are adding advocates who can help further our work by sharing our ministry with others in their community- churches, civic groups, service organizations, schools, etc.To be a Bunny Blessings advocate, you must have a personal relationship with Christ and be passionate about our mission to Love One Another.
